Red Sky are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join a growing team at Gatwick Airport. Working as a mechanic, you will be responsible for the servicing of all ground equipment airside. You must ensure all GSE (Ground Service Equipment) is maintained to a high level.Vehicle Mechanic Responsibilities and Duties
  • Servicing, maintenance, and repair of GSE Equipment
  • Complete all paperwork to a high standard.
  • Providing a best-in-class customer experience for our business customers
  • Comply with H+S Legislation
  • Liaise with internal customers.
  • Assist in carrying out all vehicle mechanical and electrical PPM (Planned and
  • Preventative Maintenance) in line with set schedules
Vehicle Mechanic Package
  • Hours- 4 on 4 off 12hr day & night shifts
  • Pay- £51,547
  • Enhanced overtime rates at time & a half
Vehicle Mechanic About you
  • GSE experience (desirable)
  • GSE or HGV mechanical knowledge
  • 5 year checkable history in order to get an airside pass
  • Able to pass a basic criminal record check.
