The company supports fire safety requirements across a wide range of buildings, offering a stable and friendly working environment for its employees.The Role:Due to continued expansion, the business is seeking two experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineers to join its team - one covering York and the surrounding areas, and another covering Manchester, Liverpool and nearby regions. The successful candidates will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and repair of both Addressable and Conventional Fire Alarm Systems, while also attending call-outs and carrying out remedial work and occasional installations.Key Responsibilities:Collaborating with the administration team to ensure efficient scheduling of workMaintaining and servicing fire safety systems on a daily basisDiagnosing and rectifying faultsAttending emergency call-outs as requiredUndertaking repairs, remedial works, and occasional installationsCompleting electronic worksheets accuratelyCommunicating effectively with the wider service teamThe Candidate:Applicants must have a minimum of two years' fire alarm servicing and fault-finding experience, ideally supported by relevant industry qualifications. Strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a customer-focused approach are essential. Candidates must live within reasonable reach of the designated work area and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.Essential Experience & Skills:At least two years' experience in fire alarm system servicing and fault findingKnowledge of BS5839-1:2025 and supporting qualificationsFull UK Driving LicenceExcellent customer service and communication skillsDesirable Experience & Skills:Knowledge of fire alarm design, emergency lighting, and smoke vent systemsFire extinguisher maintenance qualifications or experienceFamiliarity with BS5266Benefits:Company pensionOn-site parkingSick payWork Location: Field-based (on the road)
