
Security Supervisor

- Lead daily security operations, acting as the central point of contact during shifts.
- Manage control room operations, including monitoring fire alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Coordinate response to accidents, incidents, and emergencies according to site protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records including incident reports, daily occurrence logs, and handovers using internal platforms.
- Conduct regular post visits and staff checks throughout shifts.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety, GDPR, and site-specific regulations.
- Supervise and support Guest Ambassadors, ensuring high standards of professionalism and conduct.
- Liaise with building engineers and other service partners to resolve faults and ensure smooth site operations.
- Handle lift entrapments and other building emergencies appropriately.
- Manage staffing levels, rota planning, and ensure adequate break schedules.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new staff, conducting assessments and performance reviews where required.
- Monitor and maintain documentation, including uniforms, access passes, and key logs.
- Deputise for the Security Manager during absences.
- Conduct return-to-work interviews and maintain attendance records.
- Carry out routine audits and reporting tasks, including CCTV audits and shift summaries.
- Oversee out-of-hours deliveries and maintain post room organisation.
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory or control room role within a corporate or high-profile environment.
- Strong understanding of emergency procedures, incident reporting, and escalation protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- IT literacy, with the ability to update digital logs and reports.
- Experience using CCTV, fire alarm panels, access control, and incident management systems.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
- SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor).
- Experience working with digital booking and facility management systems.
- Familiarity with GDPR compliance in a security setting.
