Oversee the development and implementation of high-quality, relevant curricula across all 16+ programmes, ensuring they remain engaging, educational, and aligned with CITC's strategic goals and partner expectations.
Monitor and report on agreed outcomes for each programme, maintaining strong working relationships with education partners and funders. Ensure the team meets all reporting, quality assurance, engagement, and finance KPIs.
Manage the strategic direction of CITC's 16+ education provision, supporting re-signs and new partner recruitment to ensure long-term sustainability and growth of each programme.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal CITC and CFG departments, as well as external funders, local authorities, and education bodies, to enhance CITC's visibility, impact, and reach across Greater Manchester.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide structured feedback to Officers, identifying CPD and training needs that continuously improve staff performance and programme quality.
Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding are embedded across the team, maintaining full compliance with CITC's safeguarding policies and practices in line with legal and ethical responsibilities.
Uphold and ensure compliance with all CITC and CFG policies and procedures across the team, acting as the first point of escalation for breaches and conducting investigations where necessary.Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceEssentialDegree level education
In-depth understanding of community-based education programmes, specifically for 16+ learners
Proven experience of working with education providers, community organisations, local authorities, and external funding partners
Knowledge of CITC's education programmes and their role within the wider education and employability landscape
Experience in coordinating community or education programmes and successfully meeting associated KPIs and outcomes
Experience working within a brand environment and understanding the responsibilities of representing a Premier League Football Club
Experience in designing and managing relevant programme curricula
Experience of line managing staff, including remote teams
Budget management and financial reporting experience
Competent across Microsoft office platforms
Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across different levels of an organisation
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenDesirablePostgraduate-level education or relevant professional qualifications
Demonstrable track record of building and maintaining sustainable partnerships
Confident presentation and public speaking skills
Experience in delivering training, mentoring, or CPD for staff and professionals
Strong understanding of City in the Community Foundation, its values and programme portfolio
