School AdministratorLocation: West BromwichStart Date: September 2025Salary: Competetive, dependent on experienceHere at Teaching Personnel we are on the look out for an organised, approachable and proactive School Administrator to join the busy office team at a secondary school. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, offering the chance to play a key part in the smooth running of the school.About the Role:As a School Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students, providing a friendly and professional welcome. You will manage a range of administrative tasks, support teaching and leadership staff, and help ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the school office.Key Responsibilites:Greeting visitors and ensuring safeguarding protocols are followedAnswering incoming calls, handling queries, and directing messages to the relevant staffManaging pupil records and updating the school database accuratelyAssisting with attendance monitoring and reportingPreparing and distributing letters, emails and other school communicationsSupporting the organisation of school events, meetings, and tripsHandling incoming and outgoing post, and maintaining office suppliesAssisting with finance-related tasks such as processing orders and invoices (as required)Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of serviceKey Requirements:Previous experience in administration, ideally in an educational setting (desirable)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems * A valid DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one before startingHighly organised with great attention to detailAble to work under pressure in a busy environmentA positive, can-do attitude and the ability to build good relationships with students, staff and parentsIf you are reliable, efficient, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you.How to Apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
