We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy Dispensary Team as a Trainee Dispenser. The role is part-time and we are looking for someone for 25 hours per week to be worked Monday 8:00am 6:30pm, Wednesday 1:00pm 6:30pm and Friday 8:00am 6:00pm.Overview of the roleTo provide efficient and accurate dispensing of medication to patients and to assist the Dispensary Manager in ensuring effective financial control of the dispensary.Work to agreed practice Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.As a member of staff with direct contact with patients, represent the practice in a friendly and professional manner at all times.We currently dispense to around half of our 15,800 patient population, both in the practice and also via our delivery service.We are looking for someone who:Is friendly, polite and confident.Can communicate effectively and has good interpersonal skills.Has good attention to detail.Is a team player.Takes pride in themselves and their work.Applicants must be prepared to complete and pass the Level 2 Dispensing qualification.Salary will be dependent on the experience of the successful candidate.Main duties of the jobAs a dispenser, as well as providing quick, accurate and efficient dispensing of medications you will also

In addition, the post holder will be required to support the Dispensary Manager in ensuring a high-level of service is delivered at all times whilst supporting the multi disciplinary team in line with the strategic objectives of the practice.Primary responsibilitiesThe following are the core responsibilities of the Trainee Dispenser.
