- Carry out responsive repairs and maintenance work on social housing properties.
- Perform joinery tasks such as fitting doors, skirting boards, and other wooden fixtures.
- Diagnose and repair issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption to residents.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople (e.g., plumbers, electricians) to complete multi-trade tasks.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Proven experience as a Joiner, preferably in a social housing or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and materials.
- Ability to carry out multi-trade tasks and basic knowledge of other trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different sites as required.
