Kitchen Porters & General Assistants (Schools – September Start)Locations: Various client sites across London.Working Days: Monday-Friday.Pay Rate: £12.21 – £16.02 per hour (depending on payment method chosen).Start Date: September 2025 – in line with school reopening.Contract Type: Temporary assignments with potential for temp-to-perm placements.We are seeking General Assistants and kitchen porters to assist at a selection of our client’s sites in N20, NW5, NW10, TW10 and KT11 for when schools re open in September.Role ResponsibilitiesKitchen Porters:Maintain high standards of cleanliness in kitchen and food prep areasOperate commercial dishwashers and ensure all utensils, pans, and equipment are cleaned efficientlyAssist with kitchen organisation, stock handling, and waste disposalSupport the kitchen team with general back-of-house dutiesGeneral Assistants:Assist with basic food preparation and food serviceSet up, clean, and clear dining areasEnsure cleanliness and hygiene standards are upheld at all timesProvide general support to kitchen and catering staff as requiredCandidate Requirements:Enhanced DBS Certificate (must be issued within the last 2 years) – essentialCorrect uniform – black trousers, black shirt, and safety shoesPrevious experience in a similar school or catering environment – preferredFlexibility to work across different sites if needed
