- Nights/Saturdays £39.50 p/h
- Sundays/Bank Holidays £45.00 p/h
- Be an integral part of the healthcare team and will be involved in everything from clinical triage to the evaluation of patient care and standards
- Carry out – and potentially develop – nurse-led clinics, review patients’ histories, undertake relevant examinations and tests, organise any necessary treatment, and refer patients to other healthcare professionals when you need to
- Working as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team, alongside the substance misuse and mental health teams
- Relevant nursing qualification and an active NMC Registration (Mental Health)
- Must have Prison Clearance and experience working within a prison
- Have an interest in Substance Misuse and have had some exposure to this environment
- Possess a good working knowledge of conducting risk assessments and care planning as well as someone who is creative and forward-thinking to work through the issues that may arise in this challenging but exciting environment
- Knowledge in therapeutic interventions such as CBT or Steps to Wellbeing is desirable but transferable clinical skills will be considered with appropriate training provided
