Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-TermProtocol Education is working in partnership with a Wolverhampton-based SEND school that provides specialist education and care for children and young people with complex needs, including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.The school is seeking a compassionate and skilled Healthcare Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a significant difference in the daily lives of students who require personalised care, structure, and support in order to thrive.Key Responsibilities:Supporting pupils with medical and physical needs throughout the school dayAssisting with personal care, including toileting, changing, and feedingProviding mobility assistance using hoists and other equipment (training provided)Administering medication and supporting with tube feeding where appropriateCollaborating closely with teaching staff, therapists, and external professionalsCreating a calm, safe, and structured environment for learning and personal developmentEnsuring the highest standards of safeguarding and care at all timesIdeal Candidate:We are looking for an individual with a caring, patient, and proactive approach who is comfortable working in a high-needs setting.
