We are seeking an experienced and highly organised indirect IT Category Manager to join our team. As an IT procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in streamlining our IT procurement process, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and strategic sourcing. You will collaborate with various departments to understand various IT requirements, including Digital Marketing, evaluate supplier options, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.As a IT Category Manager you will
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, including Digital Marketing, SaaS, and services.
- Maintain a forward-looking IT category plan aligned with business and technology roadmaps.
- Apply a strategic mindset to identify and implement innovative procurement solutions that enhance our IT capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement and challenge the status quo to unlock new opportunities.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of savings types (e.g. cost avoidance, cost reduction, value-add).
- Track and report savings performance against targets, ensuring alignment with finance and budget owners.
- Collaborate with IT, Legal, Finance, and other departments to define requirements and priorities.
- Support cross-functional initiatives such as Order Management Systems, Legal Management Systems, and Source-to-Contract platforms.
- Lead supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract finalisation.
- Manage service levels, performance reviews, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Promote ethical sourcing and sustainable procurement practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Proven experience in IT procurement within a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Experience in Digital/Performance Marketing contracts.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
- Deep understanding of procurement levers and savings methodologies.
- Skilled in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and analytics tools.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
