Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of industrial batteries and related products. Operating within a number of industries, they are now looking to bring on trainee battery engineers to work in their Aberdeen depot, within their Motive Power division. With a competitive base salary and plenty of career progression opportunities available, this would be a great opportunity for someone who is looking for an opportunity to move into the Forklift Batteries industry.Responsibilities
  • Servicing, repairing and maintaining the company’s broad range of batteries used within the Material Handling industry
  • Carrying out regular battery watering within the company depot
  • Developing an understanding of the company’s products over time with the potential of progression to a fully-fledged engineer
  • Reporting to the Service Manager with regular updates
  • Conducting regular warehouse maintenance; ensuring health and safety standards are upkept at all times
RequirementsThe company are ideally looking for a candidate with a basic mechanical/electrical understanding who is looking to get into a career with potential long-term career prospects. They would potentially be interested in candidates without any formal qualifications, provided they can show a good attitude and are ready to learn a new skill. It is vital for the requirements of this position that you are based within a commutable distance of Aberdeen.Benefits
