In the role of Classroom Support Assistant, you will be essential in aiding teachers during lessons, supporting pupils’ learning, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere.As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
- Encourage and motivate pupils to engage in learning activities.
- Support children with additional needs, adapting your approach where necessary.
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and build positive relationships with pupils.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
