Working Hours: Monday to Friday, occasional SaturdaysWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Car Mechanic on behalf of a reputable and growing automotive business based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual who takes pride in their work, thrives in a busy environment, and is looking for a long-term role with opportunities to grow.The Role:As a Car Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to a high standard. You will work across a wide range of makes and models, completing both mechanical and electrical repairs, MOT preparation, and routine servicing.Key Responsibilities:Carry out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of vehiclesPerform mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, engines, and gearboxesEnsure all work is completed to the highest standards and in line with health & safety proceduresWork efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detailCommunicate effectively with the service team and customers as requiredIdeal Candidate:NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)Proven experience as a vehicle technician or mechanicConfident in diagnosing and repairing faults independentlyMOT testing qualification desirable but not essentialReliable, hardworking, and a team player with a strong work ethicWhat’s On Offer:Competitive salary between £24,000 – £28,000, depending on experienceMonday to Friday working hours with occasional Saturday coverFriendly working environment with long-term stabilityOpportunities for further training and developmentHow to Apply:
