The Business Services Team Leader will oversee the daily operations of an accounting and finance department within the professional services industry. This role focuses on managing a team to deliver high-quality services while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.As a Team Leader within the Business Services team, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring junior staff while ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Your day to day will include:
  • Overseeing and reviewing management accounts and statutory accounts for both UK and multi-national companies, providing expert guidance and support
  • Providing insightful advice on VAT and PAYE matters, including meticulous review of monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT returns
  • Assisting start-ups comprehensively in their financial journey, offering crucial financial support and guidance
  • Leading the implementation of cutting-edge accounting and computerised financial systems
  • Managing UK financial reporting for various entities, including limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Fostering the growth of your team through training, reviews, and mentorship
  • Offering expert advice on a wide range of business subjects, strengthening client relationships
