
Contracts Manager

- Develop detailed project plans and schedules
- Lead weekly progress reviews and forward planning sessions
- Attend on-site meetings to monitor construction progress
- Produce and update project programmes in coordination with site managers
- Chair internal and external meetings and maintain accurate records
- Liaise with site managers, clients, and subcontractors
- Resolve site issues and manage variations and minor works
- Oversee resource allocation, recruitment, and equipment tracking
- Organise pre-start meetings and project launches
- Handle subcontractor communications and issue resolution
- Monitor snagging, defects, and client updates through to final handover
- Set high standards for on-site H&S practices and documentation
- Allocate and verify H&S responsibilities and training
- Implement and monitor risk management controls
- At least 5 years’ experience in contract management
- Background in social housing construction (new build and refurbishment)
- Relevant qualifications (HNC, Diploma, ILM or equivalent)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, communication, and negotiation
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
