Reporting to the Head of Internal Controls, the successful candidate will work closely with the existing internal controls team to design and implement the Internal Audit programme.
  • Building relationships with Stakeholders, being a credible partner in helping to introduce an Internal audit program into the organisation.
  • Communicating the strategy to senior leadership and gain sponsorship for your proposals through consultation and effective communication.
  • Being able to concisely report back findings clearly and factual, setting out recommendations for improvement.
  • Prioritising your own agenda and inputting into a three lines of defence model.
  • Counselling the Internal BAU teams so they can perform controls effectively and make necessary changes.

  • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIA).
  • Proven experience in an audit role, Internal or External.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A high level of integrity and reliability.
  • Knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
