This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the entire patient journey from initial consultation through to full recovery within a supportive and professionally rewarding environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPreoperative CareAttend surgical consultations and accurately document patient histories and surgical plansCoordinate surgery bookings, liaising with hospital and anaesthetic teams to ensure smooth schedulingPerform preoperative assessments and deliver clear patient education to prepare individuals for surgeryIntraoperative SupportAssist with preparation and setup of surgical proceduresScrub in and provide surgical assistance when requiredPostoperative CareCarry out pre-surgery phone call checks and offer reassurance and supportProvide wound care and postoperative instructions, maintaining communication with patients via the clinic's mobile contactBe available to answer questions or concerns during the early recovery periodClinic Administration & ComplianceMaintain patient records with exceptional attention to detail and confidentialityMonitor clinical consumables and ensure stock is up to dateSupport with daily operational tasks, including CQC-compliant checks and clinic maintenanceTraining & DevelopmentThis role offers strong potential for professional growth. You'll be joining a clinic that values teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning.RequirementsEssential:Registered Nurse (RN) with valid NMC registrationRight to work in the UKMinimum of 2 years experience in surgical nursing, preferably in plastic, cosmetic, or reconstructive surgeryConfidence in wound care and pre/post-operative patient communicationProactive, self-motivated, and able to work well both independently and as part of a teamHigh standards of safe clinical practice and professional conductWarm, reassuring bedside manner with a patient-first mindsetPreferred:Experience using lasers in clinical practice (e.g., Fotona Dynamics for scar work or similar devices)
