Supply Teaching Assistant Job descriptionEast Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Supply Service is looking to recruit Teaching Assistants for supply work to schools based within the East Riding of Yorkshire Council area. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools within a given area stipulated by you.We are a none-profit service and unlike most agencies we do not charge for payroll or top slice the fee you receive; however, we do ask support supply workers’ pay an annual registration fee of £36.Successful candidates will be covering Teaching Assistants both SEN and Mainstream day to day, short term and long-term placements supporting children with their education across a variety of Key Stages. This is a great chance to gain more experience and/or fit flexibly around your personal circumstances.The candidate must have a Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent) and must have had recent experience of working within an UK educational establishment.If you have the necessary skills and qualifications, further you believe you have what it takes to succeed as a Teaching Assistant and the availability to commit to working on a supply basis then please apply. We will be interviewing as and when applications arrive so if you meet the essential criteria you will be contacted to arrange a suitable date and time.
