Hourly Rate: £25.00 – £38.00
Working Hours: Full-time / Part-timeWe are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our esteemed client in East London. This is a rewarding opportunity to work across schools supporting pupils from Year 7 to post-16 who present with a range of neurodivergent profiles and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. The role involves delivering speech and language therapy to pupils with social communication and language processing difficulties, as outlined in their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering speech and language therapy interventions tailored to the individual needs of pupils. Working closely with school staff and other professionals, the therapist will support the development of communication skills in students with a variety of neurodevelopmental and SEMH presentations. The role includes contributing to EHCP reviews, maintaining accurate clinical records, and providing training and guidance to educational staff to embed communication strategies into daily practice. The therapist will play a key role in promoting inclusive communication environments and supporting pupils’ access to learning and social engagement.Qualifications and Experience
  • HCPC registration (essential)
  • Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Experience working with children and young people with neurodivergent and SEMH needs
  • Strong understanding of social communication and language processing difficulties
  • Ability to work collaboratively within school settings
