Production Operative - BangorSalary:
  • Day Shift: £13.12 per hour
  • Evening Shift: £16.27 per hour
Shifts Available:
  • Shift 1 (Day Shift):
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Shift 2 (Evening Shift):
  • Monday to Thursday: 4:00 pm - Midnight
  • Friday: 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Duties: Operating Machinery:
  • Set up, run, and monitor machines for production or manufacturing processes.
  • Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, size) to ensure optimal performance.
 Inspection and Quality Control:
  • Regularly inspect parts and materials for defects or irregularities.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Record and report any quality issues to supervisors.
 Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Conduct routine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication) on machinery to prevent downtime.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs when necessary.
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians for complex repairs.
 Material Handling:
  • Load raw materials or components into the machine and monitor supply levels.
  • Unload finished products and prepare them for packaging or shipping.
· Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain production logs, including quantities, machine downtime, and maintenance activities.
  • Report operational issues, safety incidents, and maintenance needs.
· Safety and Compliance:
  • Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
