- Prepare and consolidate group financial statements ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Oversee the monthly and annual reporting processes to provide accurate financial insights.
- Collaborate with divisional teams to ensure consistency in financial processes and reporting.
- Support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to assist strategic decision-making.
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across the group.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and liaise with external auditors.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
- Provide technical accounting support and advice to internal stakeholders.
- A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proficiency in preparing and consolidating financial statements.
- Experience in the retail industry or a similar sector would be advantageous.
- A strong understanding of accounting standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and auditors.
