As a mobile Industrial & Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer, you'll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring peak performance for our clients' systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactive Engineering: Delivering essential maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDCs, and warehouses. You'll work with a wide range of equipment, including Recip, Scroll, and Screw compressor packs, handling installations using Ammonia, CO2, HFC/HFO.
- Reactive Support: Providing crucial service and reactive breakdown cover during standard hours, and supporting out-of-hours needs as part of a standby rota.
- Client & Business Focus: Aligning with internal and client support functions to meet customer and business objectives.
- Quality & Compliance: Taking ownership of the quality of each engineering task, ensuring adherence to all contract responsibilities, industry best practices, and legislative guidelines. You'll also maintain appropriate commercial awareness and business system compliance.
- Hours: Monday - Friday, with abundant opportunities for overtime and call-outs.
- Competitive Salary: Up to £50,000.
- Overtime Pay: x1.5 on weekdays, x2 on weekends, plus a day in lieu for bank holidays.
- Standby Rates: £15 per day, £50 on bank holidays.

- Proven Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration engineering services sector and a clear understanding of customer expectations in this field.
- Technical Expertise: Appropriate technical competencies and certifications, such as 2079 Refrigerant Handling, ACRIB, and Ammonia.
- Formal Training: Successful completion of a recognized training course or apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.
- Application Knowledge: A solid understanding of maintenance and service duties on medium to large industrial applications.
- Diagnostic Skills: Experience with large central plant technical diagnosis and fault-finding.
- Compressor Familiarity: Experience working with refrigeration compressors from leading brands like Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, and Mycom.
