Are you passionate about demonstrating the value of education to children with SEN?Exciting opportunity to join a progressive school for children and young adults with SEN!This Surrey-based School is looking for an experienced Class Teacher to join a fun and supportive team at a purpose built school. This is a school for children aged 2-19 with a range of needs, including Severe, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).Personal Qualities

  • Experience of leading successful teaching activities

  • Knowledge of current good practice in good teaching
  • Successful experience of differentiating lessons to enable pupils to access the curriculum
  • Ability to remain calm and consistent when working with students demonstrating challenging behaviour
  • Able to build confidence and motivation
  • Able to learn quickly and communicate effectively
  • Able to build robust and effective relationships with students
  • Able to remain calm and resilient when placed in situations of stress or conflict
