- Provide expert advice and support to consultants, clinicians, and patients on the effective use of oncology medications.
- Deliver an exemplary pharmacy service in compliance with current legislation and ethical standards.
- Oversee safe management of medicines across the hospital departments.
- Promote a multidisciplinary approach to ensure high-quality healthcare services.
- Conduct comprehensive pharmaceutical care planning and evaluation.
- Communicate effectively with diverse groups on complex and sensitive issues.
- Drive innovation and improvement by training and guiding colleagues.
- Manage and organise data, records, and stock for efficiency.
- Apply and quality assure technological solutions for chemotherapy treatment.
- Monitor resources effectively to ensure operational efficiency.
- Contribute to research initiatives and gather valuable data.Who we're looking for:Essential skills and qualifications include:
- A degree in pharmacy (BSc/MSc Hons) and GPHC registration without restrictions.
- Extensive experience in oncology pharmacy services, particularly within a hospital environment.
- Capability to apply clinical reasoning to complex patient needs.
- Advanced knowledge, ideally supported by a diploma in clinical pharmacy with a focus on oncology.
