We are seeking an experienced 5-axis CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join a growing and diverse customer of ours based in Havant. Reporting to the Cell Leader(s), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality precision components, on time and in full. You will work to best practice manufacturing standards while embracing continuous improvement to help achieve the strategic goals of the business.This role is ideal for a skilled, positive, and dynamic professional who thrives in a collaborative team environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set, and operate multi-axis machining centres to produce precision components.
  • Work with small batch production across a wide range of materials.
  • Ensure quality standards and project deadlines are consistently met.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support operational efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of workplace organisation and cleanliness (5S).
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and resolve technical challenges.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a machinist with strong programming, setting, and operating skills for 5-axis CNC machines.
  • Proficiency in machining small batch, high-precision components.
  • Background in motorsport, aerospace, or similarly disciplined industries preferred.
  • Experience with CAM software (Fusion 360) and Heidenhain controllers is advantageous.
