  • Work with the Site Director and Fashion Features Director to deliver daily, high quality fashion coverage on ELLE.COM/UK that reflects the zeitgeist, at pace, and deepens engagement across the fashion vertical
  • Bolster the quality of output and authority of ELLE's digital fashion content
  • Contribute fashion articles to all relevant ELLE touchpoints, including the magazine, ELLE COLLECTIVE, and newsletter
  • Edit in-house or commissioned digital fashion content
  • Work with the Site Director and Deputy Site Editor to deliver a content plan for SEO
  • Develop new fashion franchises across digital and video, that speak to the way we wear and shop fashion - and why
  • Work with the central video team to ensure fashion video targets are met and that all fashion video content reflects the brand's quality standards
  • Work with the e-commerce editor to ensure best practice on any product-driven content and ensure we meet fashion e-commerce KPIs
  • Collaborate with the wider fashion and fashion features teams to support digital and maintain output
  • Monitor Google analytics to ensure metrics being met
  • Be an ambassador for ELLE, and attend relevant industry events
  • Develop contact book of strong digital fashion writers, as well as respected experts in the industry
  • Work with Hearst commercial teams to make sure all co-branded pitches are the best they can be, in-keeping with the ELLE fashion USP
  • Maintain PR and advertising client relationships
ABOUT YOU
  • Proven experience in an editorial role, writing copy and commission and editing.
  • Highly skilled at building stories and editing at speed within a CMS.
An understanding of the importance of SEO in journalism, and how to use it effectively in everything from body copy to headlines. * A comprehensive contacts book, from fashion PRs, advertisers and journalists, to designers and talent reps.
  • An in-depth knowledge and interest in popular culture.
  • A flair for storytelling and identifying fashion trends and topics to cover - and the best way in which to write and engage with our audience.
