Location: Cumbria based
Working Hours: Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)
Salary: £16 – £18.50 per hour (DOE)
Overtime: Available – time and a half for over 40 hours.We’re looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of construction equipment across the UK. You’ll play a key role in keeping our customers’ machinery running smoothly and efficiently, providing on-site expertise and excellent service.Key Responsibilities:
- Routine maintenance, breakdowns, warranty and damage repairs on construction machinery/equipment
- Carrying out site visits across various UK locations
- Producing clear, detailed reports of work/repairs via iPad
- Looking after and reporting on company vehicle condition
- Maintaining excellent communication with customers and colleagues
- Ensuring full recovery of all work completed
- Strong background in the plant industry (essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent)
- CSCS card preferred
- Skilled with diagnostic tools and engine software
- Detail-oriented, conscientious, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel overseas for manufacturer training
- Own tools are required (tool allowance after probation)
- Dealers experience desirable, but not essential
- Flexible with your working hours
