Job DetailJob ID 55647Job Description55647Our client is an industry leading, independent firm of Estate and Letting Agents, and they are looking for an experienced Lettings & property management person to join their fantastic firm in central Exeter with a basic salary in the region of £25,000 and on target earnings £30-32,000.Well known for their dedication to their staff, vendors and tenants, they always strive to exceed expectations through service. We can highly recommend this firm to work for as we have recruited for them for many years.Key responsibilities will include:
  • Register new prospective tenants and book appointments
  • To conduct viewings of current and proposed properties including direct interaction with tenants and landlords
  • Conducting property rental valuations
  • Conducting administrative tasks involved in the running of the letting business, which briefly include tenant referencing, production of draft tenancy agreements, checking legally required documentation and related contractual paperwork
  • Take calls about and organise repairs and maintenance
  • Tenancy renewals
  • General property management
  • Using IT systems to ensure data is captured and used in a manner to ensure excellent recording and productivity with the office
The ideal candidate:
  • Well-presented and excellent communication and written skills
  • Minimum of 1 year's lettings and property management experience
  • Organised with a good attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of the current lettings and property management legislation
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Dedicated to delivering first class customer service
  • Willingness to go the extra mile
  • Be a friendly and approachable team member
Monday to Friday 5.15pm finish and Saturdays on rota. The Company can offer a fantastic career path and training for the right individual and pride themselves on staff retention and development. They also offer a very competitive salary plus mileage allowance. Basic salary of £25,000 depending on experience and on target earnings of £30-32,000.
