What is the opportunity?This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join the Programme team and be part of a multi-year mission to fully re-build the Group IRB model suite!The Programme spans many areas and requires a wide array of different skill-sets from quantitative analysts to technical professionals, from project managers to business analysts.This job is open to those based in both ROI or UK. We currently have a number of opportunities available within this team at various levels and so may consider your application for any roles that apply.In this role you will:
  • Lead specific model development/remediation projects
  • Follow diligent analytical solution and documentation processes and quality standards
  • Ensure output compliance with internal and Regulatory requirements
  • Engage effectively with key stakeholders (e.g. Business Model Owners, Model Validation teams, Model Risk teams etc)
  • Support internal model governance processes
  • Support preparation for engagement with Regulators
What will make you stand out?We are looking for Credit Risk/IRB Modelling expertise coupled with knowledge of IRB model regulation and guidelines.We need you to have previous experience leading small teams and ideally project-based delivery experience.Finally you be a strong communicator with excellent collaboration skills.Essential QualificationsA bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in any quantitative field.More about the teamThe Group IRB Programme is a multi-year program tasked to re-develop, secure regulatory approval and implement the Group IRB model suite to meet revised ECB and EBA IRB Repair Programme requirements.We are part of the Credit Risk family within the Bank of Ireland Group Risk Division, and are the analytical centre of excellence.We work on building automated decision-making models to support enhanced customer experience and increased process efficiency.This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the UK or Republic of Ireland with the primary office location being Bristol or Dublin.
