Job Title: Fire Alarm Service EngineerLocation: SloughRate: £220 p/dayAre you an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer with a background in both fire alarms and emergency lighting? We are recruiting for an engineer to carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and remedial works across commercial and retail premises in the Basingstoke and Slough region.Description of contract/programme of works:
  • Routine service and maintenance on fire alarm systems and emergency lighting
  • Working with a range of fire alarm systems including Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C-Tec, and Gent
  • Servicing across commercial and retail premises
  • Engineers will be issued with a weekly workload and required to plan their visits accordingly
  • H&S photo required prior to start for ID badge purposes
Experience required:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in fire alarm servicing and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of emergency lighting systems
  • Familiarity with a variety of fire alarm manufacturers
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
  • BS7858 vetting - Beneficial
  • ECS Card - Beneficial
  • Asbestos Awareness - Beneficial
  • Pre-screening required for engineers not already vetted
  • Hand tools, power tools, battery testers, and multi-meters - Essential
  • Fire test equipment - Essential
  • Steps and ladders - Essential
  • Full PPE - Essential
