If speculative CVs are sent, no fee will be applicable - please direct all queries to the relevant Resourcing Partner.SITE FABRICATORPAISLEYWhat you will be doing:An opportunity has arisen for a Fabricator to join the fabrications team, a Galliford Try business.
  • Install access metalwork on various contracts predominantly within the Scotland - but not limited to
  • Have the ability to work from detailed drawings, marking and setting out.
  • Installing and fixing together steel sections, open type flooring and handrails.
  • Measuring, cutting, and forming handrail tubes
  • Lining up and levelling steelwork before fixing
  • Drilling and fixing steelwork including handrail systems to concrete.
  • Use of MMA welding equipment, cutting equipment, saws, drilling machines and small hand tools to produce quality fabrications to required tolerances
  • Fabrication and welding of steelwork from detailed fabrication drawings
About You:
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Hold a UK driving licence
  • Have a background in a similar work environment
  • Safety is paramount so a good understanding and awareness of this is required - working to SSOW & RAMS
  • CSCS Slinger Signaller
  • Confine Space trained
  • IPAF operator
  • Working at height trained
  • City & Guilds parts 1, 2 & 3 preferred or equivalent
  • Abrasive Wheels
  • Fork truck / Telehandler licence
  • SSSTS
