Business Immigration Solicitor - London or Birmingham | Hybrid WorkingA leading law firm is seeking a Business Immigration Solicitor to join its expanding Personal and Business Immigration team in London or Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to backfill a role following a departure and join a market-leading team advising corporate clients across a wide range of sectors including logistics, healthcare, education, and technology.The team handles a diverse and complex caseload of personal and business immigration matters, offering the chance to work on skilled worker visas, global mobility applications, dependent and partner visas, indefinite leave to remain, British citizenship applications, sponsor licence applications, compliance, and right-to-work issues.Working Pattern:
  • 2 days in the office, 3 days remote

About You The ideal candidate will have:
  • 3-8 years' PQE, ideally with prior paralegal or fee earner experience in immigration law
  • A keen interest in personal and business immigration
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Flexible and commercial approach
  • Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Ambition to develop their career further
  • Strong academic and technical knowledge
  • Excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities efficiently
Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Handle a mixed caseload of personal and business immigration work
  • Provide tailored advice to corporate and private clients
  • Assist team members with caseloads as appropriate
  • Draft letters, emails, documents, applications, and reports
  • Ensure all work complies with immigration laws and regulations
  • Keep up to date with changes in immigration legislation and policies
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, training, and networking
  • Draft articles and legal updates
  • Work in line with internal SLAs and firm values
  • Achieve set financial and chargeable targets
