Working Hours: 22.5 hours per weekWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 8a Clinical Psychologist to join an Adult Acute Mental Health service. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a senior clinical role within a multidisciplinary team, providing psychological support to adults experiencing acute mental health difficulties. The role offers access to specialist training and development opportunities.What will your responsibilities be?As a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide advanced psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for service users in acute mental health settings. You will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of complex cases and will offer consultation and support to multi-disciplinary colleagues. This includes structured assessments, individual therapy, group facilitation, team formulation, indirect interventions, supervision, mentoring, and teaching and training. You will also have the opportunity to access specialist training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for Psychosis, Family Interventions, CBT for Personality Disorders, and Structured Clinical Management (SCM). The role further involves contributing to care planning, risk assessment, service development, audit, and research activities to enhance clinical outcomes and service quality.Benefits:
