Do you have a strong background in Kinship and Fostering? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! The RoleExperienced Social Worker needed for countywide Kinship team. Responsibilities include assessing and supporting Connected/Kinship Foster Carers and potential Special Guardians, collaborating to improve placement quality and stability.The Kinship team, a specialist part of fostering services, assesses and supports connected person foster carers and Special Guardians, also covering private fostering and post-order Special Guardianship support. We are a dedicated team focused on improving outcomes for children and supporting Kinship carers.Benefits

Requirements:
  • You will be fully qualified (SW Degree, DipSW, or equivalent social work qualification)
  • Hold a minimum of 3 years' recent experience in a statutory setting, preferably within Kinship & Fostering.
  • Expertise in complex assessments for Court/Foster Panel, strong safeguarding background, understanding of Kinship care regulations, and excellent analytical reporting skills.
  • You must be registered with Social Work England and you must have a full driving licence with access to a car.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
