- Work collaboratively with the rest of the IA team. Partner with business stakeholders when working with them on audit engagements to provide them with relevant IA assurance and advisory work.
- Proactively communicate insightful and accurate key messages from stakeholder interactions to IA colleagues and IA Leadership in a timely manner, including communicating potential findings to the Manager and rest of the team. Participate in the discussions of potential findings with the business.
- Participate in the completion of assurance, advisory and other related work as assigned, including participating in the development of the scope and testing strategy as required.
- Engages with the whole team, learns from others and encourages others to contribute. Develops internal and external relationships to improve development and partnering with clients. Seeks advantages of diverse thinking to deliver better solutions and encourages diversity and inclusion in the team.
- Takes ownership of assigned tasks and completes assurance and advisory testing/work in a timely manner, to a high standard, and in line with test procedures and IIA and WTW methodology standards.
- Prepare draft issues for the Audit Manager’s review and for discussion with the business. Participate in drafting the report ready for Manager review, ensuring issues and risk are clear, concise, and include the root cause of the issue.
- Follow up assigned issues and management actions plans.
- Experience in a comparable role with a large multi-national, financial services, or Big 4 firm.
- Experience in auditing regulated firms and general knowledge of and experience in areas WTW operates in (e.g., insurance brokerage, consulting, investments, pensions, etc.) would be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage with senior management and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in languages (e.g. Spanish/Italian/Portuguese) is highly desirable.
- Experience in using data analytics to achieve audit objectives would be an advantage.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills when applying risk based internal auditing techniques in end-to-end audits.
- Self-motivated with a track record of working autonomously, with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor).
- Required to travel up to 30% internationally.
