· Contract Type – Full-Time, PermanentWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Functional Skills Tutor to join a dynamic team of education professionals and inspire the next generation of military apprentices.The OrganisationThe Further Education provider we are recruiting for is passionate about unlocking the potential of every learner and empowering them to achieve their best. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality training in a supportive and inclusive environment, helping apprentices progress in both their professional and personal lives.Role Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching of Level 2 Functional Skills English to military apprentices.
  • Plan, prepare and assess learning activities to support student progression and achievement.
  • Create a motivating and supportive learning environment that inspires apprentices to reach their goals.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to guide development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and overall learning experience.
  • Develop tailored resources to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Essential Requirements
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS, DTLLS, or equivalent).
  • Experience delivering Functional Skills English (preferably at Level 1 and Level 2).
  • Passion for teaching and supporting young adults, ideally within a military or apprenticeship setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
