· Within the retail and service sector, you will currently be managing a store and leading a team within retail telecoms, storage, furniture, homewares or the leisure sector from gyms, hotels or coffee shops with the main focus of driving sales through delivering a best in class customer focused proposition· With responsibility for the leadership, success and development of your team, you will demonstrate an inspirational leadership style ensuring that your team's personal development is at the forefront of everything that you do.· You operate effectively in complex situations through engaging and inspiring those around you to follow and 'join' the journey· You will have a proven track record of delivering sales and great service against a suite of KPI's at management level within customer focused retail environments.Day to day· As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be accountable for driving customer satisfaction metrics, operational excellence and sales performance across in your store· You will be visible, available and delivering to the best of your ability in the store. Your time in the store is to get under the skin of the operation and deliver the best results possible through your team· Leading from the front, you will be adept at winning over the hearts and minds of your people and engaging them in your vision for your region. You will set stretching metrics and will ensure your team are motivated to meet and exceed these expectations by delivering excellent service and capitalising on sales opportunities.
