- Significant administrational experience within a large complex health organisation
- Ability to manage projects at local level
- Experience of developing services and implementing change to meet performance targets
- Experience of managing teams, undertaking recruitment, managing performance and sickness and disciplinary issues
- Experience in dealing with patients and the public
- Experience of using and managing information to determine priorities and demonstrate service levels
- Experience of preparing and presenting information to clinical staff to influence, change and inform decisions
- Experience of using and managing information to determine priorities
- Experience of working in a service improvement environment
- Experience in policy and Standard operating procedure formation
- Knowledge of health service management
- Specialist knowledge of Medical Directorate service administration
- Demonstrable evidence of facilitation skills in managing/handling difficult, contentious or sensitive issues as well as handling conflict
- Demonstrable evidence of effective management of internal/external investigation of concerns
- Knowledge of Referral to Treat ( RTT) and targets as set by Welsh Government
- Experience of participating in job plan reviews
- Experience of supporting clinical teams to deliver change
- Knowledge of the workings of clinical services and generic changes that they may be faced with
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organisation and external partners
- Able to initiate and respond positively to change and has the ability to learn from the experience
- Committed to the continuous development of staff
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex information
- Ability to prioritise workload in an operational environment
- Demonstrable leadership skills
