
SEN Teaching Assistant

- Provide dedicated support to pupils with SEN, both individually and in small group settings
- Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored learning activities
- Support the implementation and monitoring of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support pupil development
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt support as required
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting young learners
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Level 2 Safeguarding certification (or willingness to complete training)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
