- Assist veterinary surgeons in the provision of high-quality care to patients, including pre-operative preparations, monitoring anesthesia, and post-operative care.
- Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures and laboratory tests as directed by veterinary surgeons.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing guidance on pet care and treatment plans.
- Assist with the maintenance of surgical and hospitalization facilities, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient care.
- Qualified and registered veterinary nurse (RVN) with relevant experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and occasional late evenings.
- Commitment to upholding professional standards and adhering to ethical guidelines.
- Knowledge of veterinary software systems is advantageous.
- Competitive salary range of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
