We are currently looking for a Chef to work with our integral team at HMS Caledonia, Rosyth, KY11 2XHPerks of the job
- £11.95 per hour
- Full time – 35 hours per week
- Monday – Thursday, Shifts ranging between 7am – 6.30pm. Please note there will be a requirement to cover A/L which may result in altered/additional shifts.

- Comply with all legislative, client and company policy, procedures and guidelines.
- Prepare food to meet menu requirements, portion size, garnish and service times.
- Ensure service counters remain replenished.
- Assist with cleaning of surfaces, areas, utensils and equipment.
- Assist with mis-en-place for the following day’s menu.
- Prepare and present ad hoc food service as required.
- Perform any other duties required to complete the team tasks.
- Remain within company food costs; accommodate operation of retail sales at point of sale.
- Project a professional company image through good posture, appearance and personal hygiene standards.
- Respond positively to customer requirements.
- Maintain dignity and composure when under customer pressure.
- Implement the company Goal Statement philosophy.
- Participate in company training to meet minimum operational standards.
- Co-operate with unit team to develop and improve overall team achievements.
- Relevant culinary qualification or at least 3 years experience in a similar position
- Experience working in a kitchen at a chef level
- Allergen awareness (i.e Natasha’s Law), full training will be given
- Excellent team player and communicator
- DBS required
