Salary of £27,000 - £31,000 + Annual BonusCV Screen is recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a fantastic company based in Hartlepool. This is a fully office based position, with excellent benefits including a discretionary annual bonus scheme.DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Manage supplier setup, PO/invoice processing, coding, and reconciliations.
- Resolve supplier queries, maintain inbox turnaround, and support depot purchasing.
- Maintain contract/utility trackers, flag expiries, obtain quotes, and recommend renewals.
- Post/reconcile daily payments, prepare weekly payment runs, and allocate correctly.
- Oversee ledger close-off, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Produce KPI reports, improve processes/automation, and ensure VAT/card compliance.
- Review open POs with managers and ensure timely invoice sign-off.
- Ideally you should have previous purchase ledger experience.
- You must have previous finance experience.
- AAT Level 3 preferred, but QBE considered.
- Able to multi-taks in a busy working environment.
- Excellent Excel skills
- Salary up to £31,000 depending on experience.
