Are you looking to work with at-risk youth?If you have the resilience, experience and commitment to support students when they need it the most, this could be the opportunity you are waiting for.Protocol Education are currently on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Behavioural Specialist to join the team at a thriving Alternative Provision Unit in the Barking and Dagenham area. We’re hoping to find an individual to slot right into a passionate team that works every day to re-engage students who are struggling to settle in mainstream education, giving them the help they need to help them achieve.What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting students with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
  • Delivering tailored behaviour interventions and classroom support.
  • Helping learners engage with education in a safe, structured environment.
  • Working alongside an incredible team of staff, determined to shape progress, one small win at a time.
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has proven experience working within a behavioural or SEMH setting.
  • Can stay calm, patient and positive when faced with challenging scenarios.
  • Uses de-escalation and restorative approaches effectively.
  • Builds trust quickly and knows how to set clear, respectful boundaries.
  • Is ready to make a long-term impact.
