- Design, build, and support secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure IaaS services, including computer, networking, and storage.
- Collaborate with the Private Cloud team to support a hybrid architecture, extending our estate from an on-premises VMware Cloud Foundation deployment into a hybrid environment with Azure.
- Assist with the integration of on-premises infrastructure into Azure services, including identity, networking, and automation.
- Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools such as Terraform.
- Enforce Azure governance through Azure Policy, Blueprints, RBAC, and tagging strategies.
- Manage Azure subscriptions and cost optimisation tools to ensure financial control and visibility.
- Drive operational automation through scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) and CI/CD integration.
- Support cloud monitoring, alerting, backup, and resilience capabilities using native Azure tools.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship across teams and projects.
