Closing Date: 13 August 2025About the Role - Data and Reporting ManagerWe're seeking an experienced Data and Reporting Manager to join our Funding/MIS team and drive data excellence across our college. Reporting to the Director of Funding and MIS, you'll play a crucial role in designing innovative reporting solutions that enhance efficiency and information access throughout the organisation.This is an opportunity to lead data strategy at a forward-thinking educational institution, ensuring the integrity and currency of critical data that underpins our funding submissions and strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities
- Shape departmental strategy and data vision
- Lead and develop our Data team
- Implement college-wide reporting policies across multiple databases
- Define and deliver robust business processes
- Provide insightful data analysis to support institutional goals
- Collaborate with senior managers and stakeholders across all departments
- Maintain systems ensuring data collection, integrity and accessibility
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting efficiency and effectiveness
- A Level qualification or equivalent
- Excellent IT skills with extensive MS Office experience
- Proven experience working with large SQL databases
- Proficiency in SSRS, Power BI or similar reporting platforms
- Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities
- Experience managing data systems in FE or educational environments
- Strategic thinking combined with attention to detail
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
