It starts with you.As a Night Security Officer at our Cambridge Hospital, you will report to the Building Services Manager, who will undertake various DIY/ maintenance / facilities work around the hospital.You will play a key part in keeping our hospital operational activities moving smoothly (which is a priority for us). Once trained and competent as our Night Security Officer you will help us to create a safe and pleasant environment for customers and your peers. We will make sure you have the best training and development opportunities and you will be involved in a variety of new initiatives being implemented to help bring the best out of you.Your role will be varied, each day never the same, interacting with a wide range of people that will make your job very interesting. Our goal is to give you job satisfaction and provide a healthy, safe working environment that you enjoy being in.As a Night Security Officer, you will :Maintain safety and security of the Hospital and follow safety and security policies at all times.Monitoring the Fire / Building / Staff Attack alarm systems and coordinating appropriate responses.Act politely at all times, always interact in an enthused and empathetic manner Experience in dealing with aggressive and potentially difficult patients visitors or situations, being able to react appropriately in an emergency.Responding to requests for security assistance.Report all accidents immediately.Also, as an individual with experience in a similar role, or the right attitude you will have:Excellent communication skills.Excellent customer service skills, written and verbal.Previous experience working within healthcare environment is desirable.Basic IT skills.Helping you feel good.We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued.
