This full-time role begins in September 2025, offering a chance to work 1:1 with pupils who have Autism and behavioural needs. If you have experience supporting children with Autism and are looking for a meaningful role in education, we’d love to hear from you.About the RoleThis fulfilling position involves working 1:1 with three different children across the school day, providing tailored support to help them thrive both academically and emotionally.As a SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), your responsibilities will include:
  • Individualised Support: Work closely with pupils to implement strategies that support their learning and behaviour
  • Autism-Focused Approach: Use your experience to create a calm, structured, and supportive environment
  • Collaborative Practice: Partner with class teachers and SENCO to adapt learning activities and monitor progress
  • Positive Relationships: Build trust and consistency with pupils to encourage engagement and confidence
  • Ongoing Development: Access training and professional growth opportunities through GSL Education
