- Administrative experience: Proven background as an experienced administrator, ideally within insurance or claims.
- Claims handling: Previous experience managing insurance claims, with the ability to assess and process them effectively.
- Marine knowledge: Familiarity with Marine insurance is preferred, though not essential.
- London Market expertise: Strong understanding of the London insurance market and Electronic Claims File (ECF) processes is essential.
- Attention to detail: Ability to identify critical information and filter out irrelevant details.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, including active listening and clear articulation.
- Problem-solving: Capable of working independently, using initiative to resolve issues and make informed decisions.
- Customer focus: Ability to empathise with customers, understand their perspective, and maintain satisfaction throughout the claims process.
- Prioritisation: Skilled in managing and prioritising workload effectively on a daily basis.
- IT proficiency: Strong keyboard and general IT skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Multilingual ability: Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills are a plus in a global business environment.
