We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.This is a part-time post of 15 hours per week, with a shift pattern of 08.30am-16.30pm, Monday to Friday.Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.The post holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to support effective clinical care by providing efficient administrative, clerical and receptionist services within the maternity departments. The post holder is expected to communicate extensively verbally with the patient, their relative/carers, the multi-disciplinary ward team and other departments involved in the provision of care.Knowledge required to undertake the role will be established through relevant in-house training relating to processes and procedures, TrakCare patient information system and stock ordering system with expectation of performing at a fully competent level within a specific time period (tbc).Previous clerical/reception experience is desirable along with previous experience of working with the general public in a customer service environment.Good organisational and communication skills.Keyboard skills and proficient use of computer systems are essential.Contact details for informal contact: Kelsey Rollo, 0141 314 9553, .Details on how to contact the Recruitment Service can be found within the Candidate Information Packs.NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde- NHS Scotland encourages applications from all sections of the community.
